The National Museum of Tajikistan Opened The Exhibition “No One is Forgotten, Nothing is Forgotten”



In Dushanbe, the National Museum of Tajikistan opened today the exhibition “No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten”, dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the Great Victory.

Veterans of the Great Patriotic War, labor veterans, ambassadors of foreign states and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Tajikistan, officers and soldiers of military units, schoolchildren and university students participated in the opening of the exhibition.

One of the sections of the exhibition presents copies of the statements of WWII volunteers Maryam Abdulloeva, Sayyid Barotov, Odilov Soli, as well as letters from Akhmedov Mashrab and Kodirov Abdusattor, which they wrote to their families from the battlefield.

The personal belongings of the war participants are also presented here: the field bag of the Hero of the Soviet Union Safar Amirshoev, the belt of the Hero of the Soviet Union Khodi Kendzhaev, the binoculars of the war participant Kodirov Charog, the flask of the war participant Rajabali Jalilov, the map pierced by a shell fragment and filled with Amanov’s blood.

The military theme is also reflected in the works of Tajik Soviet artists, whose works are presented in another part of the exhibition.

The exhibition will run until May 18.
