Russia Withdrew Almost All of Its Military From Belarus – State Border Guard Service

Russia, as part of the rotation, has so far withdrawn almost all of its military personnel from Belarus, where they were trained and trained.

“The situation along the border with Belarus remains fully controlled. On the other side of the border, we do not see that the enemy has the grouping necessary for the re-invasion of Ukraine. But we must be prepared for any development of the situation, because Belarus, unfortunately, continues to support Russia in the war unleashed by it against Ukraine.

Russia, among other things, uses the Republic of Belarus as a platform or training ground for training its units.

Fortunately, the number of Russian military personnel at Belarusian training grounds has only decreased recently , until recently we fixed this number at the level of up to 2 thousand military personnel, but at the moment another rotation has taken place and almost all Russian military personnel have been withdrawn from the territory of Belarus.

It cannot be ruled out that in the near future new units may be brought to the territory of Belarus again, but at the moment we do not record this.”

In addition, according to Demchenko, the State Border Guard Service does not observe an organized introduction of Russian mercenaries of private military companies to Belarus, which was previously noted, because the Republic of Belarus was preparing sites for their acceptance .
