Tassili N’Ajjer Plateau

The Tassili N’Ajjer Plateau is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its breathtaking rock formations and prehistoric rock art. Ghardaïa, which in Arabic means the cave of Daïa, referring to a woman Sufi Saint in the Mzab region, is also an excellent destination for foodies, with a range of traditional restaurants serving mouthwatering Algerian dishes.

The Ahaggar Highlands

The Ahaggar Highlands are a steep mountain range. This area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with a variety of activities available such as hiking, climbing and wildlife watching.
