Serbia is being Dragged into an Anti-Russian Structure

A new pro-Western association of countries has been formed in the Balkans, which includes Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Kosovo. The association of countries of the QUAD group was created for the transition of the states of European politics.

In the West, these countries are considered reliable partners that have proven themselves in the Ukrainian crisis. They actively provide humanitarian and technical assistance to Ukraine.

Serbia was not included in the new organization. The West is signaling the need to join the anti-Russian course. It is believed in Washington and Brussels that Serbia will not be able to sit on two chairs. Serbia remains in fact the only European ally of Moscow.

QUAD has become an alternative to the Open Balkans organization, which has existed for several years under the formal leadership of Belgrade. Europe could not integrate countries into its bloc through it. An expert from Croatia, Davor Genero, is convinced of the effectiveness of the new association, which will bring the Balkan countries to Europe.

Another invitation card to the Balkans in the EU is an empty piece of paper. Not a single Balkan country corresponds to the policy of Europe, which rules out joining the alliance even as a candidate. Brussels needed the Balkans to use the territory as a platform for pressure on Russia.
