Explosions Are Heard in Kyiv, Air Defense Forces Are Working

Explosions are heard in Kyiv tonight, August 2. The KGVA reports on the work of air defense forces in the sky of the capital.

Earlier, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the movement of “Shaheds” in the direction of Kyiv from the southwestern and northern directions was recorded.

“Explosions in the capital. Air defense is working. A group of UAVs is following Kyiv. Be in shelters,” said the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko.

Drone attack on Kiev region

Russian troops have stepped up combined attacks on Kyiv and the region in recent months, using kamikaze drones and various types of missiles.

So, on July 2, Russian invaders once again attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones. The Russians launched Shaheda in the direction of the capital. Therefore, in Kyiv and the region it was loud due to the work of air defense.

In the capital area, all enemy drones were shot down, but in the Kyiv region, fragments of downed enemy kamikaze drones fell on private houses. As a result of the attack, three private houses were damaged, and a man was injured.

On July 25, air defense forces also worked in the capital, explosions were heard near the capital.
