Friendly Countries Shared With Russia Information About the Copenhagen Meeting on Ukraine

Representatives of countries friendly to the Russian Federation shared with Moscow information about the content of the meeting on Ukraine, held on June 24 in Copenhagen, a source in the Kremlin told Interfax.

“Many representatives from countries that maintain friendly relations with us informed our ambassadors following this Copenhagen meeting. In other words, we received certain information about the talks held in Copenhagen,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

According to the source, this meeting “was clearly an attempt to work with countries that occupy positions close to us on the Ukrainian issue, an attempt to process them.”

The interlocutor of the agency explained that, in particular, he had in mind the representatives of Brazil, India and other countries that are members of the BRICS.

The ARD TV channel previously reported that on June 24, a secret meeting on Ukraine was held in Copenhagen with the participation of diplomats from Western countries, as well as Brazil, India, China and South Africa.
