BUDAPEST, Hungary — Grape Solutions and MVM Mobiliti are partnering with Innogy CZ, a leading energy and utility company in the Czech Republic, to enable Czech motorists to charge their electric vehicle effortlessly and conveniently. The development took place within the framework of a cross-border cooperation between three companies of the MVM group.
MVM Mobiliti and Grape Solutions have been collaborating since 2018 to develop the Mobiliti app, which has become the most downloaded electric car charging app in Hungary, with more than 215,000 charging stations in 39 countries.
Based on the Mobiliti concept,
Innogy plays a key role in the supply of natural gas and electricity to Czech customers as well as in the establishment of clean mobility solutions in the Czech Republic. Grape Solutions implemented Montu for Innogy to enable its registered users to start EV charging seamlessly and help Czech operators manage charging points quickly. Czech electric car owners also have information about occupied stations, can start charging with a single click and benefit from automated billing when it’s finished.
Operators have access to the administrative management platform which brings together all the information necessary for flawless mobility operations. The robust software notifies operators in real time and receives any issues or feedback from drivers.
“The use of Montu, the white-label application, gave a boost to the development of our charging application for electric cars. The standard application was relatively quickly adapted to the specifics of the Czech market. With so many features available, it can be expanded quickly,” said Petr Matousek, CTO of Innogy CZ Plc.
“Partnering with Innogy is proving to be crucial in our drive to conquer the market, as it is the first time that we have implemented our e-mobility software as a service, Montu, abroad. Grape Solutions is preparing to deploy its turnkey e-mobility platform in all countries, because it is strongly committed to sustainable development. We believe that together with Innogy and MVM Mobiliti, we can further highlight the importance of electric charging in the Central European region and beyond,” added Szilárd Széll, CEO of Grape Solutions Plc.
